Whatever the reasons, the government changing the clocks to fool the population that it's a different time is inane. It needs to stop.

Honestly, I'd be ok if we stayed at DST all year round. It's just no fun when it gets pitch-dark at 4:30pm for a month.

There are days in the winter where it's dark when you leave the house in the morning and dark by the time you're coming back home. Be nice to have an extra hour of daylight when I walk the dog in the evening.

Somehow it doesn't bother me as much when it's still light-ish at 11:00pm...

What we need to do is an analysis on the difference in energy consumption with and without DST, taking into account added heating costs in the cold months.
