The adapter works as expected with Tivo Series 2 DVR’s. Plug it in and it is immedately recognized, that’s it.

It’s amazing what ethernet adapters have come from; to. Old ones were bulky and primitive. This Linksys was small and easy to connect.I’m using it connected to Tivo and Wii to wireless Netgear WNHDE111 sending perfect signals to my Netgear WNDR3700.

Bought this adapter to stand in for a broken ethernet port on my laptop. Took it out of the package, connected it to a network cable and plugged it into a USB port on my laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 and it instantly connected. Works great! Very pleased.

I bought this adapter to replace the faulty onboard NIC in my desktop – I could not get more than 8MB throughput on it and if I tried download multiple things at once the performance dropped to below 2MB. It installs very easy and if you have low workloads this adapter would be adequate. But I expected the 10/100 advertised rate to at least provide 30Mbps speed, but it does not even do 10Mbps.
