I had to upgrade my XP Pro PC to Vista since it wouldn’t boot with the Norton Internet Security 2009 upgrade I had recently installed on it. The PC feeds four monitors and none of my existing graphics cards were Vista compatible. I bought two of the PCI 5200 cards (PNY VCGFX522PEB GeForce FX 5200 256MB)and the AGP 6200 card (PNY VCG62256AEB GeForce 6200 256MB DDR 64-bit). Since each of these cards has dual outputs, I can actually run six monitors now. Installed the AGP card first. Vista recognized the card and installed without any problems. (Hint: I wouldn’t recommend that Vista users use the PNY supplied user guide or CD to install. Guide is confusing and inconsistent.) Installed the other two PCI cards simultaneously and again Vista recognized and installed them. All cards work flawlessly. I then set up the multiple monitor configuration using the Vista display manager. Very pleased with the results.

A wonderful addition to your desktop computer, install was a snap and its nice to be able to view two monitor screens at once, takes some of the work load away. Instruction manual and setup has lots of different choices which is a pleasant surprise.

I bought this for my machine which has Vista 64-bit. Every time the monitor came out of power saving mode blue screen would happen. The latest driver for Vista was created in 10/2006. Nvidia has no plans to release updates. I’m going to try to return this card.

I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks and it’s really helped my older machine. My only gripe is with the documentation. On my machine I had to go into safe mode and disable the on board driver, and I didn’t see this in the documentation.
